Following the release of A Level results we recently heard brilliant news: Lucy Conibear has accepted a place at Nottingham to study medicine.

Emily Sinha-Royle is now in her second year at Exeter studying medicine, and when Emily popped into school at the end of term it was great to catch up and hear about her studies. If you thought Brimsham students were idling away their summer holidays, think again! What an impressive set of achievements, we are very proud, Toby. I would like to do this because the children of Brimsham Green have been walking past my house for years on the way to school and they have always been incredibly respectful.

I hope you all enjoyed your bouncy castle and ice cream rewards! Thursday 13th July Rotary Young Chef Competition Our Young Chefs impressed the judges this week with their restaurant-quality food, all served up within an 1hour and 30 minutes. They deserve to look proud with their certificates!

And I am going to try making it this weekend! She has been a credit to the school and the Food Department.

Last night Acton House gathered to recognise the achievements of Years In addition to the subject awards, we were able to award House Colours to those students whose contributions have significantly shaped Acton House this year. How brilliant it was to sit in anticipation to see who had won what; to hear the gasps of joy from students and parents when names were read out; and to be one of those proud parents myself!
